This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing modules.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit modules to customize them.
The left side has modules you can add!
Some modules you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some modules have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain modules can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
What a way to wake up in the morning!! Thank you soo much ^kkart for featuring my work! Thank you to everyone for the support!!! This is soo exciting! I'm speechless!! thank you sooo sooo much!! to everyone!!
I have had a couple people asking how it was done. "Don't you need need an Infrared filter to make Infrared pictures." Yes and No..
I thought I'd make a quick tutorial to show you how its done. I know of many ways to do IR in photoshop.. this I found this is the easiest way. This is how Photoshop Infrared is done.
first choose a colour photo(greens always look best in IR), not ALL photos are able to be successfully turned in to IR photos.
then check to see what it looks like in black and white... then change it back to colour.
now go to the layers palette and click "create new adjustment layer" and hit "channel mixer".
when in channel mixer, set the red channel to -50%, the green channel to +200% and the blue channel to -50%. Turn off the Monochrome box at the bottom and then hit OK.
You now have a black and white IR photo. Typical characteristics of black and white IR is: white leaves on the trees, darker clouds and almost white grass.
to enhance the image just a little more you can do some Levels adjustment. Drag the shadow slider (on the far left). Then drag the highlights slider (on the far right) the same amount. That should give it some extra pop!
To add some colour in the black and white IR. make a duplicate copy of the original background image in the Layers palette. Bring the new background copy to to the top of the layer list.
Change the blend from Normal to Overlay and set the opacity to around 50%.
Now you have a Colour IR photo processed through Photoshop.
To finish off with a more traditional looking IR colour photo
go back to the background copy layer, click on "create ne adjustment layer" again and select "channel mixer".
This time do the same -50% red, +200% green and -50% blue, but thsi time do not check the box for Monochrome. (it should turn orange).
To get other fun colours, you can change the output channel pull down up top of the channel mixer window. Just stick with the -50 +200 -50!!!
I hope this is useful!!!! If you give this a try please let me know.. I'd love to see other peoples IR conversions.
Infrared Features!!
a small note: I did not invent this myself. I originally followed the tutorial in the Photoshop User Magazine Oct/Nov 2006 issue.
