My VERY first alpine glow experience i have to say was amazing. I was in awe watching the light creep into the mountain tops.
I am kind of sad there wasn't any clouds in the sky.. cuz I was told "Don't worry Dani, there is always clouds in the mountains" .. lol, but I guess you cant have everything!..:P

I do love the log in the foreground, it also brings your attention to the
reflection of the mountains in the water, giving the whole picture
full view! beautiful colors, great time to be there for the sunglow on
the mountain tops!

glad you had fun then, sorry that you couldn't stay longer and catch some clouds as well.

I guess nature isn't always "available" for us, we need to keep "stalking" :)) hehe

either way, the result is rather calm and peaceful due to the lack of clouds, so the effort was worth it nonetheless :)
