Action + Lens + Feature

The last couple days I've had my tv channel stuck on Showcase Action. Yesterday there was an action movie marathon on. The played Speed, Con-Air and The Rock. They repeated them over and over all day, and I watched Con-Air 3 times and The Rock twice. 2 of my favorite movies. If they played any Die Hards then it would have been the BEST night in a long time!!. All the real good action movies, were shot in the late 80s and 90s. That was such a good time for movies.

Okay.. now for some real news.
This last month I've been contemplating at some point this year or next getting a new telephoto lens. I need to upgrade my 70-300IS. I was planning on waiting until next spring but this last week, I found a sale that I couldn't turn down. So.. as of Tuesday/Wednesday or Thursday.... I will be the proud new owner of a Canon 100-400L
After seeing what Ryser915 and fubecando can do with it, it made it clear that this was the lens for me. Just enough reach and lots of flexibility. I can't wait to get some new shots with it!
